The Descartes correction reversed one arrow. Existence precedes thought — you were already here before the doubt began. Knowing IS Being. That was the first link. But it immediately raises a prior question: if knowing is a mode of Being, what is truth? Not the product of correct knowing — that would make truth downstream of something already downstream of Being. Truth must be something else entirely. Something prior.
